During this keynote, former US Vice President Al Gore will open with an address that focuses on what is at stake not only for this COP but moving forward, the need for increased ambition including through new NDCs, pressing for a fossil fuel phaseout and ramp up of renewables, and perhaps mostly importantly, the urgent need to reform the COP process.
