It’s The World’s Easiest Decision: Climate Reality Mobilizes Global Citizens To Demand Leaders Act At Cop

SHARE

Washington, DC (11/30/15) – The Climate Reality Project has launched World’s Easiest Decision, a humorous, interactive website designed to drive attention to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change twenty-first session of the Conference of the Parties (COP21) kicking off today in Paris, and to encourage world leaders to commit to strong emissions reductions agreements, setting us on a path to a low-carbon future.

World’s Easiest Decision is a simple premise: would you choose to not save the Earth or save the Earth? Through a series of simple questions and informative, funny videos, users are led to the obvious conclusion – that the home we all share must be saved.

“Climate Reality has always used innovative, eye-catching and humorous tools to reach beyond engaged environmentalists to the broader population, and World’s Easiest Decision is a prime example of that,” said Climate Reality President and CEO Ken Berlin. “Through these funny and sometimes irreverent videos, we hope to highlight the simple choice we face in Paris – to stick to a path that burns fossil fuels and harms our planet or move to a low-carbon, sustainable future with cheap, abundant renewable energy.”

World’s Easiest Decision is part of Climate Reality’s Road to Paris effort which kicked off earlier this year and has involved Climate Reality Leadership Corps trainings, the Know Tomorrow campaign to activate students across the U.S., and the global, live streamed event 24 Hours and Live Earth: The World is Watching, among other activities. As part of this effort, Climate Reality has focused its organizing efforts on eight countries key to the COP21 negotiations: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Philippines, South Africa and the United States.
