Sam Li
Intern for Advancement
Sam Li is a current rising junior at Georgetown University, majoring in Business and Global Affairs, a joint degree program between Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and McDonough School of Business. Sam’s interest in climate change began in high school when he participated in Speech and Debate. The activity allowed him to learn about the drastic magnitude of climate change and how everyone can contribute towards mitigating the issue. At school, Sam is Georgetown Chinese Student Alliance’s President as well as BridgeUSA’s Georgetown Chapter President, an organization devoted to promoting effective dialogue on topical issues such as climate change. Having previous experience in grant researching, Sam is excited to take his fundraising skills to the next level with the Advancement team! In his free time, Sam enjoys posting “How To” videos on his YouTube channel, making matcha TikToks, and playing and watching tennis. He is super excited to be joining The Climate Reality Project!
