SHARE

(She/Her/Hers) As Climate Justice Grant Manager, Génesis Sánchez is responsible for overseeing outreach efforts to increase the participation of people of color, frontline communities, young activists and students in the Climate Reality Leadership Training Corps. She graduated magna cum laude from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) with a degree in sociology and from the Beijing Normal University with a master’s in public policy. Prior to joining the organization, Genesis managed a scholarship program at the Organization of American States, where she worked to provide opportunities for underrepresented communities. In the last decade, Genesis has lived on four continents and learned to speak English, Italian and Mandarin aside from her native Spanish. Genesis loves to exercise in her free time and though she has only recently learned how to ride a bicycle, is committed to commuting to the office by bike every day. She is very excited about this challenge and looks forward to removing her training wheels someday soon.
