(He/him) Jeremy is the legislative advocacy associate for The Climate Reality Project. He was born and raised in Chicago, which he will tell you is the best city in the world. In Chicago, Jeremy spent his time on gun violence prevention work and progressive electoral campaigns at the municipal, state, and federal levels. While studying political science and public policy at George Washington University, Jeremy led a successful fossil fuel divestment campaign and helped significantly up the ambition of his university’s climate plan. Before joining Climate Reality, Jeremy organized with the Sunrise Movement, helping elect climate champions, plan direct actions, and do whatever else was necessary in order to create the conditions for winning climate action and justice at the scale needed. When he’s not organizing, Jeremy can be found biking, reading, or at a baseball game talking about the Cubs’ 2016 World Series victory.
