Earlier today, Republican Members of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee boycotted the confirmation hearing of Gina McCarthy, the nominee to head the Environmental Protection Agency. Not coincidentally, these eight Republican Senators have collectively received more than $5.2 million in contributions from Dirty Energy. The extreme weather we are experiencing isn't normal – it's dirty, polluted weather, and it's the result of carbon pollution from dirty fossil fuels.
