Today, The Climate Reality Project’s I AM PRO SNOW campaign released the second in a two-part video series, featuring I AM PRO SNOW ambassadors and snow sports enthusiasts Mark Abma, Michelle Parker, and Doug Stoup. This light-hearted video follows a similar spot featuring two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety and is designed to raise awareness about a serious subject: how climate change is hurting snow sports and what snow fans can do about it.

The Climate Reality Project Trains More Than 700 New Climate Reality Leaders
More than 700 community leaders, entrepreneurs, activists and business innovators became Climate Reality Leaders this week at a three-day training held by The Climate Reality Project in Johannesburg, South Africa. The organisations also announced the launch of The Climate Reality Project Africa, a new branch that will further mobilise individuals and communities across the continent in the fight against climate change.

"Five years ago, Maggie Fox joined The Climate Reality Project (then the Alliance for Climate Protection) to guide it through one of the defining legislative fights of the current environmental movement. Though the effort succeeded in the U.S. House of Representatives, it was blocked in the U.S. Senate -- which proved to us that more had to be done to combat the climate denial cottage-industry and to foster a true social movement for climate action."
