SHARE

(she, her, hers) Jamiah Adams is the senior vice president of diversity and justice at The Climate Reality Project. She previously served as the chief of diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Tom Steyer PAC. Prior to her DEI work, Jamiah held digital, communications, and campaign leadership roles at MoveOn.org, NextGen America, the Democratic National Committee, and the NAACP. She is most proud of her effort in leading the communications strategy for a 1,000-mile march for justice and the civil rights website she helped to develop for the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. Jamiah worked on environmental justice, criminal justice, immigrant rights, and racial justice campaigns and was an inaugural fellow at the Center For American Progress Leadership Institute. She served abroad as a cultural ambassador in Eastern Europe for the U. S. State Department. Through Believers Consulting, Jamiah provides select clients with DEI strategy and political advice. Her diversity, equity, and inclusion practice are grounded in communications and the values that have guided her work within the advocacy space - engendering equitable access for those who have been traditionally marginalized. A graduate of the University of Southern California and San Francisco State University - Jamiah lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she was born and raised. She is civic-minded and dedicated to contributing to her community where she can - and volunteers as a board member for the Rumi Forum, the Muslim Caucus, and looks forward to continuing her service on the Federal Commission for the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site in Washington, D.C.
